About The Position

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or another target-driven role.
• A track record of meeting or exceeding activity, meeting, or pipeline targets.
• Experience generating pipeline through outbound prospecting across email, phone, and LinkedIn.
• Strong discovery instincts and the ability to identify a real business problem in an initial conversation.
• Comfort reaching out to marketing, sales, customer success, L&D, product, operations, founder, or technical stakeholders.
• A high-agency, builder mindset, with the ability to test, learn, and iterate without waiting for a complete playbook.
• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to write clear, concise cold emails and follow-ups that get replies.
• Curiosity about AI, video, creative workflows, and API-driven products.

Nice To Haves

• SDR or BDR experience at a PLG, usage-based, API, creative software, marketing technology, sales technology, or AI company.
• Experience prospecting into marketing, localization, customer education, learning and development, sales enablement, ecommerce, media, or product teams.
• Experience using video, personalization, AI tools, or creative outbound to start conversations.
• Experience working in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Build pipeline from scratch through high-volume, high-quality outbound prospecting into target accounts, using cold email, phone, LinkedIn, personalized video, account research, trigger-based outreach, and creative campaigns.
• Use self-serve users, product usage data, sign-ups, and inbound interest to identify teams getting value from HeyGen and ready for a broader conversation.
• Conduct initial conversations to uncover business pain, identify budget owners, and understand timing; book qualified meetings for Account Executives.
• Explain business outcomes HeyGen can provide, including reducing video production costs, speeding content creation, improving localization, personalizing customer communication, and enabling new video workflows.
• Test messaging, channels, personas, and sequences; measure results and share successful approaches with the team.
• Coordinate with Account Executives on target accounts, share market feedback, and provide context for effective first meetings.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and activity records, and distinguish genuine opportunities from low-intent interest.
