About The Position

SPIROL is a global manufacturer providing engineered metal components and fastening solutions. We are seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Sales Representative to join our team in Danielson, Connecticut. This role focuses on building customer relationships, solving problems, taking ownership, and driving long-term business growth through exceptional service. The position is 100% on-site.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business, Communications, General Studies, or a related discipline; advanced studies in science or engineering technology are preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales, inside sales, B2B sales, account management, customer service, customer success, or business development preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Strong computer skills; experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office is beneficial.
  • Ability to travel based on business needs and sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong customer relationships and become a trusted commercial partner in the assigned sales territory.
  • Proactively connect with customers to understand their needs, anticipate future requirements, and secure repeat business.
  • Build relationships across customer organizations, including Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Management.
  • Qualify incoming sales leads and customer inquiries to determine the best course of action for securing and developing business.
  • Identify opportunities for additional products, applications, and future business.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes and customer proposals.
  • Perform Annual Business Reviews and ensure customer information, pricing, requirements, and future demand are current and well-documented.
  • Collaborate with SPIROL's Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, Quality, and Operations teams to support customers and develop opportunities.
  • Resolve customer and order-related issues with urgency and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and activity information within the CRM.
  • Support customer forecasting and account planning.
  • Participate in customer meetings, business reviews, and occasional customer visits.
