About The Position
Labcorp is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist I to join their team in Graham, NC. This role involves researching websites for backup information, identifying issues and trends with assigned payers, ensuring aged accounts receivable are handled according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), and communicating with leadership and partner teams for accurate and timely processing of remittance. The position requires flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year or more work experience
- accounts receivable, billing, office administration, data entry work experience
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Access
Responsibilities
- Research websites to obtain backup as needed
- Identify issues and trends with assigned payers
- Ensure aged AR is handled according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Communicate with leadership and partner teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of remittance
- Remain flexible to everchanging priorities
