The Accounts Receivable Specialist supports accurate and timely billing, collections, cash application, and receivables reporting. The role monitors customer payment behavior, resolves payment issues, and helps maintain strong cash flow and reliable financial reporting. This hybrid position is open to candidates selected from New York, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. The specialist handles billing and invoicing, applies incoming cash, reconciles payments with invoices, follows up on overdue balances, and resolves payment disputes in coordination with internal stakeholders. The role also prepares accounts receivable aging and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) reports, identifies potential bad debt risks, supports month-end closing and revenue recognition, and coordinates with Finance, Operational Client Management, and external collection agencies as needed. The successful candidate builds effective working relationships, communicates professionally with clients—including in difficult payment situations—and demonstrates ownership, reliability, sound judgment, discretion, and a proactive approach. Responsibilities may evolve according to client requirements, operational priorities, and business needs.
