About The Position

This role focuses on building strong partnerships with hiring managers to identify and fulfill staffing needs with a high level of customer focus. The specialist will develop targeted sourcing strategies to attract top active and passive candidates using various outreach methods. Key responsibilities include supporting Affirmative Action Planning (AAP) and University Relations & Recruiting (URR) programs, managing the interview and selection process, and maintaining candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). The role also involves leading employer branding efforts, crafting job descriptions, representing the company at recruitment events, cultivating relationships with candidates, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Additionally, the specialist will support special projects and continuous improvement within Talent Acquisition.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience driving structured full-cycle corporate recruitment with the ability to identify and attract top talent.
  • Strong communicator who is able to hold hiring managers accountable and drive the process.
  • High sense of urgency.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and handle competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to identify and fulfill staffing needs with a high level of customer focus.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies to attract top active and passive candidates, utilizing social media, professional networks, and innovative outreach methods.
  • Support Affirmative Action Planning (AAP) and University Relations & Recruiting (URR) programs.
  • Manage and streamline the interview and selection process, including screening calls, assessments, interview coordination, and final interviews.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Lead employer branding efforts in partnership with Marketing to enhance visibility as an employer of choice.
  • Craft compelling job descriptions and design targeted interview questions to attract and assess high-caliber talent.
  • Represent at career fairs, networking events, and recruitment initiatives to expand talent pipelines.
  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with prospective and past candidates to build proactive talent networks.
  • Drive a seamless and positive candidate experience from application to offer, including salary negotiations and onboarding handoffs.
  • Support special projects, training initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts within Talent Acquisition.
