About The Position

Irth Solutions is seeking an Implementation Consultant to lead end-to-end SaaS implementations that help operators work safely and keep communities connected to critical infrastructure. The Implementation Consultant partners closely with clients to understand their business processes, translate business needs into system requirements, and configure and implement software solutions that meet client objectives. This role is responsible for requirements gathering, configuration, training, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and ongoing client support. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who can influence decision-makers, manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and proactively solve complex problems. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, independence, and the ability to build trusted client relationships.

  • Demonstrated experience working directly with customers in software implementation or delivery roles.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts, technologies, and software products and translate them into effective customer solutions.
  • Ability to build, motivate, and maintain effective working relationships with clients, internal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to apply professional experience and sound judgment to plan, prioritize, and accomplish project goals.
  • Ability to work during U.S. Eastern Time business hours on a daily basis.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients following the sale of software solutions to gather the information and data required for implementation and customization.
  • Facilitate business requirements sessions to understand client objectives, evaluate priorities, determine feasibility, and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Analyze clients' current-state ("as-is") business processes and translate them into future-state ("to-be") processes within Irth's products.
  • Identify process gaps, configuration needs, and opportunities for product enhancements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout all phases of implementation.
  • Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned projects.
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Irth software solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Customize and configure software systems according to client requirements and specifications.
  • Guide clients through system configuration using a Train-the-Trainer approach to develop internal client-side software subject matter experts.
  • Demonstrate system functionality and provide guidance on product capabilities, workflows, and implementation-related questions.
  • Troubleshoot implementation issues and coordinate with internal technical teams to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Ensure implemented solutions meet applicable business, product, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Project Managers to plan, organize, execute, and monitor multiple implementation initiatives.
  • Participate in regular project meetings, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track project progress, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables using company systems.
  • Maintain accurate project status information and time-entry records.
  • Proactively identify project risks and dependencies and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Support overall customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate client enhancement requests with internal Irth product and development teams.
  • Establish development timelines and ETAs for planned enhancements and communicate updates to impacted stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations when timelines or priorities change, including communicating the rationale for ETA adjustments.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure business requirements and user stories are accurately reflected in technical designs and development sprints.
  • Participate in product and business process analysis to ensure proposed enhancements align with overall product strategy.
  • Evaluate solutions to ensure enhancements expand product capabilities without creating conflicts with existing functionality or product direction.
  • Document business and system requirements through Statements of Work (SOWs), process-flow diagrams, wireframes, flowcharts, and configuration documentation.
  • Support detailed system and business process analysis.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test preparation, execution, issue tracking, and client sign-off.
  • Review product content and configurations for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business intent.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project and implementation documentation.
  • Provide ongoing implementation support and guidance to ensure clients successfully adopt the software solution.
  • Monitor client needs and identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced product utilization.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal technical teams throughout implementation and post-implementation activities.
  • Take a proactive approach to identifying and resolving client, product, and implementation challenges.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by an appropriate administrator or their representative.
