The Opportunity As a Community Manager, you will help build and scale Superhuman’s community programs, creating meaningful experiences that drive engagement, advocacy, customer connection, and product feedback. You’ll work at the intersection of community, marketing, and customer experience, helping cultivate relationships with ambassadors, customers, AI enthusiasts, and industry professionals. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building communities and has experience growing ambassador, customer, advocacy, or B2B communities. You’ll have the opportunity to shape programs, foster engagement, and create scalable systems that help community members connect with each other and with Superhuman.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in community management, customer advocacy, ambassador programs, customer marketing, customer engagement, or a related field.
  • Experience building, managing, or scaling ambassador, champion, advocacy, customer, or B2B communities.
  • Experience managing online community platforms such as Slack, Common Room, or similar community technologies.
  • Demonstrated success designing and executing virtual events, engagement programs, campaigns, or community initiatives that drive participation and member value.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and execute independently.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Communications, and Operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage, educate, and build relationships across diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using community metrics, engagement data, and member feedback to inform decisions and improve programs.
  • Experience gathering customer or community feedback and translating insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Passion for creating inclusive, welcoming, and valuable community experiences that foster belonging and advocacy.
  • Has a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manages tasks and priorities across multiple projects, analyzes and executes work efficiently, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in fast-paced, results-driven environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute community programs that drive engagement, participation, and member retention.
  • Recruit, onboard, and support community members.
  • Plan and facilitate virtual events, workshops, challenges, and community experiences that create value for members.
  • Manage and grow community platforms, including Slack and Common Room, while fostering a welcoming and engaging environment.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Communications teams to collect feedback, surface customer insights, and strengthen community impact across the business.
  • Create content, communications, and engagement campaigns that encourage participation and celebrate community success stories.
  • Analyze community health metrics and program performance, using data and member feedback to continuously improve programs.
  • Build scalable processes, documentation, and operational systems that support long-term community growth.
  • Help establish community best practices and contribute to the evolution of Superhuman’s community strategy as the program continues to grow.
