About The Position

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Small Business Services. This role involves working within a defined geographic territory targeting clients and prospects with 1-49 employees. The primary responsibilities include identifying and signing new clients for payroll, tax, human resources, and benefits solutions, as well as selling additional solutions to existing clients. The day-to-day activities involve cultivating relationships, setting appointments, gathering leads from business partners, assessing client needs to present ADP solutions, and spending time in the field closing business. The company provides high-quality sales training and utilizes the latest sales technology. Key attributes for success include integrity, resilience, positivity, and a determined attitude, as sales roles naturally experience fluctuations. The role offers uncapped commissions, incentive trips, and career advancement opportunities within a stable and respected tech company.

Requirements

  • Positive Self-Starter. You have an upbeat, persistent style and the ability to cold call without fear of rejection, manage your time well, and can present your ideas in a clear professional manner on paper, in-person, and over the phone.
  • Agile Solution Seeker. You're a problem solver who can find an answer, or a solution, even in times of fast-paced change.
  • Continuous Learner. You're always learning, growing, and questioning how things were done in the past to make them even better.
  • One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or another relevant industry, OR Military experience.
