About The Position

Requirements

• Five or more years leading marketing operations, commercial marketing, POS development, merchandise production, or related operational functions.
• Beverage alcohol, CPG, or retail experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting commercial marketing or shopper marketing programs from concept through execution.
• Ability to recommend effective POS solutions that bring brand strategies to life.
• Hands-on proficiency with POS inventory and order management systems.
• Ability to translate operational data into actionable reporting and business insights.
• Experience managing external partners and vendors while balancing quality, cost, timelines, and service levels.
• Strong program and project management skills across multiple brands, campaigns, SKUs, stakeholders, and hard deadlines.
• Experience managing budgets and operational complexity.
• Clear communication skills, including briefing sales leadership and executives.
• Comfort collaborating across Brand Marketing, Commercial Marketing, Sales, and Finance to deliver seamless execution.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Brand Marketing and Commercial Marketing to recommend POS solutions that align with campaign objectives, brand impact, operational feasibility, timing, and budget.
• Develop and execute the annual marketing operations strategy for POS and merchandise, focusing on optimal solutions, quality, cost, and timeliness.
• Lead annual budget planning and ongoing forecasting for marketing operations, including monthly reviews and adjustments.
• Contribute to the integrated planning calendar by developing POS development and distribution timelines, identifying dependencies, and ensuring cross-functional team alignment.
• Continuously improve marketing operations processes to enhance speed, efficiency, and service while maintaining exceptional execution.
• Manage external partner relationships, ensuring adherence to contracts, quality standards, and delivery dates.
• Lead the day-to-day management and development of the internal Graphic Designer, fostering an environment for efficient and on-brand creative work.
• Partner with Brand and Commercial Marketing to ensure creative briefs are complete, strategic, and provide necessary direction for high-quality work.
• Manage creative priorities, timelines, and workload across multiple brands and initiatives.
• Facilitate the creative review process by coordinating stakeholder feedback and driving timely decisions.
• Ensure creative deliverables align with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, production requirements, and channel-specific needs.
• Continuously improve creative workflows, communication, and project visibility for better collaboration.
• Oversee external procurement partners to ensure delivery against quality, service, timeline, and commercial objectives.
• Optimize the sourcing process to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase product availability speed.
• Build strong relationships with procurement and fulfillment partners, holding them accountable for performance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure materials, print, and finishes meet high standards for all brand-carrying items.
• Champion sustainable materials and practices in line with the global Meister Code.
• Stay current on POS technology, sourcing methods, and industry best practices.
• Partner with warehouse and fulfillment providers to maintain inventory accuracy, service levels, and lead times.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and beverage alcohol trade practice requirements, while proactively identifying operational risks.
• Serve as the business owner of the POS ecosystem, ensuring systems, reporting, inventory, and ordering processes support commercial execution and decision-making.
• Evaluate, implement, enhance, and optimize the POS platform and related technologies.
• Partner with Business Technology and other functions to integrate the POS platform (SHOP) with adjacent systems.
• Transform POS data into actionable insights for the commercial team.
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology and AI to simplify processes and improve user experience.
• Deliver a seamless, user-friendly ordering experience for field teams and consumers on online merchandise shops.
• Train field and HQ teams on the POS system and related processes, providing ongoing support.
• Own the annual Marketing Operations budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources for maximum business impact.
• Balance business needs with financial discipline by evaluating requests, setting priorities, and making thoughtful trade-offs.
• Maintain oversight of procurement, warehouse, fulfillment, and operational spend, identifying cost optimization opportunities.
• Continuously challenge processes, partners, and ways of working to drive operational efficiencies.
• Partner with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders to monitor forecasts and manage spending alignment with budgets.
