About The Position
CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to generate leads, advance the sales process, close new business, and achieve sales quotas. This role involves researching and identifying potential accounts through telephone, email, and occasional in-person interactions. The Inside Sales Representative will also support outside sales efforts through administrative tasks and projects. CCFS is committed to achieving universal prosperity with its Customers, Company, Team Members, & Communities, utilizing the latest technology to provide quality service and on-time delivery throughout the Western and Central United States.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales or relevant industry experience
- Self-motivated and results driven
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (written and verbal), analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Cold-call prospects generated by external sources.
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
- Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients to improve volumes.
- Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process.
- Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
- Grow customers into a size that could be passed on to Business Development Representatives.
- Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects and customers.
- Achieve revenue growth goals.
- Overcome objections of prospective customers.
