About The Position

Gateway Supply is hiring an HVAC Inside Sales team member to support customers, coordinate orders, and provide dependable service from request through delivery. The role serves as a key customer contact, responding to inquiries, researching pricing and product availability, preparing quotations, entering orders, and coordinating purchases and deliveries. It is suited to an organized, customer-focused person comfortable in a fast-paced sales and service environment.

Requirements

Previous inside sales, customer service, wholesale distribution, HVAC, or related industry experience is preferred.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen, clarify customer needs, and provide accurate information.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to enter orders accurately and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
Comfortable learning product information, pricing, inventory systems, and order processes.
Ability to collaborate with sales, purchasing, warehouse, vendors, and delivery teams.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience with ERP or order entry systems.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to customer calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
Research products, confirm stock status, and communicate accurate pricing and lead times.
Prepare clear, accurate quotations that meet customer needs.
Accurately enter customer orders, review order details, and follow up to help ensure orders are processed correctly.
Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, vendors, and customers to support product availability and on-time delivery.
Provide dependable service, communicate clearly, and help customers identify appropriate solutions.
