About The Position

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources and/or Payroll
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Professional and effective communication with all levels of staff
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive matters
• Proficiency in HR software, data entry, and reporting systems
• Understanding of labor law and HR compliance requirements
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Process new hires, pay rate changes, and terminations in HR systems
• Screen applications and resumes, assess qualifications, and offer hiring recommendations
• Support managers and employees with questions related to HR policies and procedures
• Respond to payroll inquiries and maintain accurate personnel records
• Guide decisions on promotions, transfers, reductions-in-force, and classification reviews
• Oversee employee events and ensure alignment with recognition guidelines
• Monitor personnel files and risk documentation in accordance with federal and state laws
• Prepare correspondence, manage data entry, and create HR reports as needed
• Educate staff on policies, employment law, and workplace procedures
