The Manager, Event Strategy & Optimization will develop and manage qualification criteria for hosted events, entertainment offerings, tournaments, VIP experiences, promotions, parties, and fixed-capacity programs. This role will continuously evaluate and adjust guest qualification thresholds based on demand, inventory utilization, profitability targets, and strategic objectives. The selected candidate will monitor RSVP pace, expected attendance, utilization trends, and event fill rates to recommend when to increase or decrease criteria. They will manage invitation pacing strategies, invitation waves, waitlist controls, and inventory release recommendations. This role will establish yield management practices that optimize guest mix, capacity utilization, incremental revenue, and event profitability. The Manager will develop forecasting models to predict attendance, redemption, participation, attrition, and event profitability. Additionally, this role will identify optimal guest audiences for events using guest worth, profitability, trip behavior, loyalty metrics, host input, and growth potential. They will balance access and exclusivity to maximize perceived value while driving desired business outcomes. The selected candidate will recommend reinvestment strategies across guest segments, including VIP, Premium Mass, New Business, Emerging Worth, hosted guests, and other strategic audiences. They will partner with Player Development and Marketing leadership to align event access with guest development, host-led growth, and property revenue objectives. This role will identify underutilized high-value guests and prevent over-investment in lower-return segments. The Manager will conduct pre-event forecasting and post-event analysis for major marketing events, concerts, shows, parties, tournaments, and experiences. They will measure event effectiveness through attendance, profitability, trip generation, theoretical win, actual win, reinvestment efficiency, and return on investment. The selected candidate will develop standardized event scorecards, dashboards, and executive-ready reporting. They will present findings, trends, and recommendations to Marketing leadership, Finance, Player Development, and cross-functional stakeholders. This role will identify opportunities to improve future event criteria, guest mix, inventory allocation, and profitability through data-driven insights. The Manager will oversee strategic allocation of event inventory, entertainment tickets, tournament entries, hosted experiences, hotel accommodations, dining opportunities, premium seating, and exclusive-access programs. They will recommend inventory release strategies and qualification adjustments to maximize utilization and profitability. This role will establish guidelines for inventory prioritization, oversell assumptions, attrition management, capacity controls, and waitlist execution. They will evaluate event demand trends and make real-time recommendations regarding capacity utilization and invitation adjustments. The Manager will partner with operational teams to understand fixed-capacity constraints and translate those constraints into stronger yield decisions. This role requires collaboration with Special Events, Entertainment, Marketing, Player Development, Hotel Operations, Food & Beverage, and Finance to align event strategies with business goals. The selected candidate will support Player Development teams with qualification recommendations, attendance forecasting, host follow-up priorities, and invitation strategy. They will partner with Marketing Analytics and Database Marketing teams to develop predictive models, guest segments, and optimization frameworks. This role will work closely with Finance to evaluate event profitability, investment effectiveness, and business case assumptions. The Manager will serve as a strategic thought partner to event and marketing teams by translating data into practical decisions. This role will develop and implement best practices in casino event yield management and event investment optimization. They will identify opportunities to automate reporting, forecasting, criteria management, and event optimization processes. The selected candidate will monitor industry trends and emerging practices related to event strategy, revenue management, loyalty optimization, and guest experience management. They will recommend new event concepts, qualification structures, access strategies, and reinvestment approaches to improve business performance. This role will create repeatable playbooks that help the organization move from simply filling events to intentionally yielding the most valuable experiences.
