Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls directed to the City of East Moline and provide accurate information or route calls to the appropriate department.
• Assist with responding to general correspondence and inquiries received by City Annex.
• Provide exemplary customer service to citizens seeking assistance from the City of East Moline.
• Welcome visitors and help direct them to the appropriate office or staff member.
• Offer administrative support to the Mayor, City Administrator, Human Resource Director, and Inspections Department as needed.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and respectful demeanor when interacting with residents, businesses, and City staff.
• Help ensure that citizen concerns and questions are handled promptly and efficiently.
