About The Position
Labcorp is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist I to join their team in Graham, NC. This role is responsible for processing payments, posting journal entries, and contacting clients for necessary information. The position requires maintaining accurate files and records, keeping supervisors informed of any issues, and performing various administrative duties. Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, aiming to improve health and lives through science.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year or more work experience
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Access
Nice To Haves
- 1 year or more accounts receivable, billing, office administration, data entry work experience
Responsibilities
- Process payments received on account and accurately post journal entries daily
- Contact clients and/or labs to obtain needed posting information
- Verify accuracy of posting information via computer system
- Maintain appropriate files and records as required by department, company and various regulatory agencies
- Keep supervisor informed of problems and any significant factors affecting assigned responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of administrative/clerical duties in order to complete assigned tasks
