About The Position
Join your locally owned Great Clips® salon team and take the next step in your career. If you’re a licensed stylist who enjoys supporting others, staying organized, and helping a team succeed, this could be the leadership opportunity you’ve been looking for. Whether you’re ready to grow into management or want more responsibility while staying behind the chair, we’re excited to meet you. This role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed. The Assistant Salon Manager role is often a stepping stone toward Salon Manager or other leadership positions. Assistant Salon Managers receive training in management and operations through Great Clips University (GCU), along with ongoing support and instruction from salon management.
Requirements
- A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
- Strong technical haircutting skills
- Great customer service
- A team-first mindset with a desire to encourage and support others
