About The Position
Join a locally owned Great Clips salon team as an Assistant Salon Manager. This role combines haircutting with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed. You will continue working behind the chair while supporting and motivating stylists, with opportunities to develop leadership skills and grow toward salon management. The position offers $22–$32+ per hour, eligibility for additional bonuses, and a team-oriented salon environment. A current Texas Cosmetology or Barber license is required.
Requirements
- A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber license; this posting specifically requires a current Texas Cosmetology or Barber license.
- Strong technical haircutting skills and great customer service.
- A team-first mindset and desire to encourage and support others.
- Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude.
- Organization, flexibility, and a desire to help keep the salon running smoothly.
- Interest in growing leadership skills and taking on more responsibility.
