About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Property Administrator, Senior to join our team! In this role you will get to monitor the lifecycle, accountability, and compliance of all assets - ensuring accurate tracking, audit readiness, and operational availability.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (or equivalent experience) and typically 4+ years of directly related property administration work experience is required.

Nice To Haves

  • National Property Management Association (NPMA) Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) certification or other related certifications is preferred.
  • Forklift operating experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Experience supporting fleet operations or equipment readiness is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 45.5 and applicable Agency Supplements (i.e., FAA Acquisition Management System Clause 3.10.3)
  • Basic knowledge of contract types, terms, and legal requirements.
  • Working knowledge of engineering and construction industry contracting practices, applicable government and industry regulations, practices, policies and procedures, and work practices.
  • Understanding of governmental contracts and the flow-down of applicable clauses and requirements.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of analytical techniques, administrative and management methods, budgets, and other administrative areas.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies compliance and flow down requirements from prime contract and deviations from standard procedures/manual.
  • Implement government property processes such as asset control, inventories, training, employee orientation, and disposal.
  • Reconciles property records in Property Record Management System and maintains property record databases for uniquely identified property, summary records, subcontractor property, excess property and disposed property.
  • Ensure materials and equipment are received, staged, delivered, and available to support field operations.
  • Supports fleet vehicle readiness by coordinating vehicle/equipment staging, movement, basic inspections, and scheduled maintenance.
  • Track driver assignment, usage, mileage and service needs while assisting with transport, upkeep, and overall coordination of fleet assets.
  • Participate in government property related meetings.
  • Provides audit support and participates in property-related audits
  • Conduct investigations and inquiries into government property management issues (i.e. Loss/Damage/Destruction of government property or vehicle accident reviews).
  • Coordinates with other functional departments as necessary.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
