About The Position
The Assistant General Manager directs the front-of-house team and service flow at a polished, elevated full-service restaurant offering lunch and dinner. The role leads pre-shift meetings, coaches staff in real time, and maintains strong service standards throughout each shift. It supports hiring, training, and scheduling; manages reservations and seating; maintains clear communication between front of house and back of house; and ensures proper restaurant staffing. Restaurant experience is essential. Success in the role requires consistently executing high service standards and ensuring food quality and appealing presentation. The company trains and promotes from within and supports development for long-term growth. The role requires availability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities
- Lead pre-shift meetings and set clear service expectations.
- Support hiring, training, and scheduling of front-of-house staff.
- Oversee daily service flow, reservations, and seating.
- Ensure consistent timing, quality checks, and table touches.
- Coach staff during service to maintain standards and guest readiness.
- Monitor ticket times and overall service pace.
- Maintain a clean, organized, guest-ready dining room.
- Track and support front-of-house efficiencies, including labor targets.
- Communicate with the kitchen to support smooth service.
