About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current certifications in Epic applications.
• Must maintain Epic certification(s) including the completion of required training to maintain certification.
• A minimum of three to four (3-4) years’ experience in developing, implementing, operating, or maintaining information systems in an integrated healthcare delivery system, to include hospitals and/or clinic settings.
• Previous installation experience with healthcare systems databases and interfaces in hospitals and/or clinic settings or with a healthcare system vendor required.
• Project management execution experience on medium to large projects required.
• Must have knowledge of applicable operations for which the position requires.
• Must demonstrate keen mental faculties/assessment and decision making abilities.
• Must demonstrate communication/speaking/enunciation skills to receive and give information in person and by telephone.
• Must possess emotional stability conducive to dealing with high stress levels.
• Must demonstrate ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast paced environment and have the ability to work independently.
• Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of workflows in order to design and execute software solutions that solve business or clinical problems.
• Must have intermediate knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Must have a valid driver license.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, mathematics, clinically related field or experience may be considered.
• License as appropriate for the Team the Analyst III will be hired into (e.g., Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Radiology, Coding, etc.).
• Required to be certified in Epic Ambulatory and one other Epic certification (MyChart, CareEverywhere, Beacon, EpicCare Link, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Conducts regular day-to-day communication with internal teams, application vendors, clinical and business representatives, and subject matter experts to tailor systems to the organization's needs.
• Assists in performing in-depth and complex analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with application use.
• Serves as a support contact and coordinates efforts and status updates with end users and operational stakeholders.
• Participates in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Travels throughout the SRHS service area, potentially out of state for education purposes.
