About The Position

Requirements

• Requires knowledge of the client area’s function and systems, technology alternatives, and ability to work effectively with client and Information Technology management and staff
• Ability to understand customer requirements and their impact on the technical aspects of a solution.
• Ability to work in a complex multi‑communication‑channel environment.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member across multiple teams.
• Ability to independently research and perform analysis to resolve complex issues.
• Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and able to manage one’s own work independently in a fast –paced environment with changing priorities.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Work PowerPoint, etc.).
• Proficiency in configuring and managing the Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology module.
• Understanding of healthcare Information Technology systems and Electronic Health Record integration.
• Knowledge of clinical workflows and requirements specific to Laboratory.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Computer Systems, or other related field
• Prior experience with Epic implementations and working in a clinical laboratory or with laboratory information systems, particularly Epic Beaker, is highly desirable.
• EPIC Beaker Certification
• Certificates in other Epic Outpatient Modules
