About The Position

At Regions Hospital, exceptional patient care starts long before a patient sees their provider. As a Cardiology Scheduling Coordinator, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience by welcoming patients, visitors, and employees. The Cardiology Scheduling Coordinator will coordinate appointments, verifies insurance, checks in patients for appointments, and manages patient reception. If you're passionate about customer service, enjoy staying organized, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, we'd love to have you join our Cardiology team.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in a direct customer/patient service position.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of a formal training program in medical reception or customer service or equivalent.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with an electronic medical record system, preferably Epic.
