The Clinic Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the appropriate completion of demand and preventive maintenance work orders, maintaining regulatory compliance, and meeting system and department goals. This role provides a timely and effective response to facility needs, minimizing risks and avoiding service interruptions. The coordinator will maintain and repair systems such as HVAC, life safety, and refrigeration, and perform duties in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work. Responsibilities may include assisting with remodeling projects, managing inventories and expenses, and working with outside suppliers and contractors to ensure efficient repairs and regulatory compliance. The position also involves training new and existing department partners, assuring the operation and quality of life safety systems, and providing accurate documentation of equipment maintenance and testing. The coordinator will review CMMS inventories, maintain regulatory compliance documentation, and may assist during regulatory surveys. This role requires the ability to work independently on challenging assignments with limited resources, prioritize and assign work orders, and complete detailed documentation of tasks performed. Effective communication with customers, peers, and leadership is essential, along with knowledge of computers, CMMS, and BAS programs.
