About The Position
The Registered Nurse Coordinator provides direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and ensures the safety and comfort of patients and families in accordance with legal, organizational, and professional standards. The coordinator also provides team leadership to enhance station or unit flow and functioning. The role is with Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses, at its Rosenberg location.
Requirements
- Graduate from an approved RN nursing program.
- Valid and current Texas RN license.
- Current BCLS through the American Heart Association.
- At least 2 years of experience in a clinical area related to the assigned department.
- CRT experience.
- Experience leading a team.
- Ability to use equipment and related supplies for the selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Specialty nursing certification appropriate to the assigned specialty area.
- Windows-based computer skills.
- ACLS.
- At least 2 years of ambulatory care experience.
- Prior supervisory experience.
