About The Position

HomeWell Care Services of Boise provides non-medical in-home care to seniors and adults across the Treasure Valley. This role involves scheduling home care, which is not a quiet desk job. It requires handling caregiver callouts, client schedule changes, and ensuring coverage for shifts, often with short notice. The ideal candidate will find these types of problems interesting and be able to manage them effectively while maintaining a warm and steady demeanor. This is a new position created due to company growth.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a role with real-time problem solving and heavy phone contact (e.g., scheduling, dispatch, staffing, busy front desk, hospitality, or similar).
  • Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Valid Idaho driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet Idaho caregiver requirements.
  • Willing and physically able to provide hands-on care in an emergency.

Nice To Haves

  • Home care, senior living, or staffing agency experience.
  • Experience with WellSky or ClearCare.
  • CNA or caregiving background.
  • Recruiting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling: Build and maintain the weekly caregiver schedule in WellSky. Handle callouts and coverage gaps as they happen. Match caregivers to clients based on skills, availability, location, and fit. Keep families informed proactively.
  • Recruiting: Source and screen caregiver applicants, responding quickly to hire good caregivers. Conduct phone screens, verify credentials, and schedule interviews.
  • Office operations: Answer inbound inquiry calls and respond to new leads promptly. Build client files and enter records in WellSky. Prepare weekly payroll data, support billing and AR follow-up. Track caregiver credential and training expirations. Handle other administrative tasks as they arise in a small office environment.
  • Emergency shift coverage: As a last resort, provide hands-on care by taking shifts when no caregiver can be found. This is a requirement for all staff, including owners.
