About The Position

Requirements

• NUCE certification/Medical Office Assistant, or equivalent
• A clear criminal reference check is a condition of employment
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Experience in the use of personal computers, various word processing, spreadsheets
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Developed interpersonal skills and ability to promote teamwork
• Excellent organization skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the use of electronic health record would be a definite asset

Responsibilities

• Provides clerical and clinical support to the primary health care team.
• Coordinates client-focused primary care for community members.
• Works within an interdisciplinary team environment.
