Client Care Coordinator
About The Position
The Client Care Coordinator works at a shelter for families with children experiencing homelessness, helping families in crisis address mental health, domestic violence, and substance abuse concerns. The role also involves working with children who have experienced trauma or may have other special needs, and strengthening each family’s existing capabilities. The coordinator completes psychosocial assessments and participates in a multidisciplinary team approach to service to support positive outcomes for families. The position provides supervised clinical hours to help advance the employee’s career.
Requirements
- Current LMSW or LMHC license.
- Compassion and respect for parents and children experiencing homelessness.
- Knowledge of child and adolescent development, emotional and behavioral health, mental health, parent-child relationships, family dynamics, and diagnostic classification.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
