About The Position

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with retail operations, inventory management, or store leadership
• Ability to coach and inspire a team
• May require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds
• Must be willing to work based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Be the primary operational lead for inventory and product-related processes, working in partnership with a dedicated Support Associate
• Plan, communicate and accomplish daily operational goals with the Support Associate to lead with efficiency and clarity
• Partner with the Brand Manager & Business Supervisor to lead preparation for inventory, including ongoing audits and reconciliation to ensure year-round inventory accuracy
• Build multiple operational projects including collection launch setups, stockroom organization, and RTV coordination following the store and brand guidelines
• Support sales and merchandising plans by coordinating important product movements—such as transfers, damages, repairs, and off-season rotations—in collaboration with corporate partners
• Partner with both the Business Supervisor and Brand Manager to align operational activities with sales targets and client appointment need
• Participate in meetings with Operations and Selling Leaders across Bergdorf Goodman to ensure understanding and support shared team goals
• Maintain elevated selling floor visual and back-of-house standards that reflect the brand and Bergdorf Goodman's luxury environment
