Principal Account Manager, Amazon Marketplace (Brand Manager)

Luminize•San Diego, CA
•$150,000 - $200,000•Onsite

About The Position

Luminize is hiring a senior individual-contributor Principal Account Manager to serve as the primary strategic partner for a portfolio of enterprise brands selling on Amazon. The role owns a book of approximately three to five brands and is accountable for forecasting, advertising strategy, catalog and account growth, client relationships, and quarterly business reviews. Advertising, content, and supply-chain specialists execute alongside the account manager, who sets direction and owns results. The account manager leads executive-level client conversations, explains forecast variances, resolves cross-functional escalations, and proactively identifies growth opportunities. This role has no direct reports. The position is onsite five days a week at Symphony Towers in San Diego. During the first two weeks, the new hire reviews the Trainual training platform and company processes and meets the specialists they will work with. Over the following 90 days, they learn Luminize’s account methodology by shadowing live accounts and working through real scenarios. They are expected to take ownership of a first brand within the first month or two and ramp toward a full portfolio of three to five brands. Relocation support may be available for the right candidate, and finalists may be flown in for an onsite visit. The posted base salary range is $150,000–$200,000, depending on the scale of the accounts the candidate has personally owned and the amount of direct ownership. The role offers a senior individual-contributor path; people-management opportunities may arise as the account team grows, but are not promised on a set timeline.
