About The Position
Medicom is seeking a motivated Territory Manager to join their sales team. The candidate will be responsible for driving company growth by achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and building client relationships within British Columbia. This role involves promoting company goals, executing marketing strategies, and maintaining a positive company image. The team thrives in fast-paced environments and offers flexibility for work-life balance.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the healthcare or dental industry
- Strong customer focus with a service-oriented mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Analytical mindset with sound decision-making abilities
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships
- Excellent organizational and negotiation skills
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach
- Results-driven and performance-oriented
- Must own a vehicle and be willing to travel regularly to visit clients
Nice To Haves
- Experience in software training (an asset)
- Experience as a dental hygienist or dental assistant (an asset)
Responsibilities
- Represent the company professionally and maintain a positive image within the industry
- Develop, maintain, and grow strong relationships with dealers, key accounts, and end users
- Achieve and exceed territory sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Execute established marketing programs and campaigns effectively
- Proactively gather and communicate relevant competitive intelligence
- Develop customer plans and provide strategic recommendations to management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales opportunities and ongoing initiatives
- Consistently use Salesforce to track sales pipeline and activities
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries, opportunities, and concerns
- Continuously enhance product knowledge and market expertise
- Prepare and submit activity reports including call reports, monthly reports, and dealer usage reports
- Participate in trade shows, customer events, and sales meetings
- Identify and recommend process improvements to better meet customer needs
- Conduct regular customer visits to drive territory sales growth
- Travel within the assigned territory using a personal vehicle (expenses reimbursed)
