About The Position

The Teller position plays a pivotal role in Greater Nevada's commitment to elevating member value and fostering meaningful interactions and relationships. As a Teller, you will serve as the face of the credit union, providing exceptional member service and personalized financial solutions. Primary responsibilities include conducting various financial transactions accurately and efficiently, promoting a comprehensive range of products and services, and building strong rapport with members through genuine engagement and proactive support.

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming and positive environment for members by greeting them warmly, actively listening to their needs, and assisting in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Conduct various financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, ensuring that member accounts are handled with precision and attention to detail.
  • Balance cash drawers and maintain proper cash levels.
  • Educate members on various GNCU products and services and identify opportunities to cross sell products and services to meet member’s financial needs.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures to safeguard member confidentiality and protect against fraud or unauthorized transactions, maintaining the integrity and security of the credit union's operations.
