About The Position

The Service Associate (Teller) provides customer service for banking transactions and inquiries, helping resolve customer problems and build customer loyalty. The role contributes to banking center operations by balancing cash, daily transactions, the vault, and ATM; following applicable regulations, reporting requirements, information security policies, and verification procedures; and assisting with opening or closing the banking center. The associate also supports sales goals by selling bank products, making referrals, learning about the bank’s products, and participating in meetings and coaching sessions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 months of sales, cash-handling, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests for banking transactions.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve problems with solutions that meet customers’ current needs.
• Build customer loyalty and customer advocates.
• Balance cash, daily transactions, the vault, and ATM.
• Understand and ensure compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.
• Follow information security policies and verification procedures to protect customer privacy.
• Assist with opening and/or closing the banking center.
• Sell bank products, make customer referrals, and participate in other activities that support sales goals.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products.
• Participate in daily or weekly meetings and coaching sessions.
