About The Position

The Service Associate - Reserve (Teller) provides customer service for banking transactions, responds to customer inquiries and problems with solutions suited to their needs, and builds customer loyalty. The role also supports banking center operations by balancing cash, daily transactions, the vault, and ATM; following compliance, reporting, information security, and customer verification procedures; and assisting with banking center opening and closing. The associate contributes to sales goals by selling bank products, making referrals, staying informed about the bank’s products, and participating in meetings and coaching sessions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 months of sales, cash handling, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests for banking transactions.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve problems with solutions that meet customers’ current needs.
• Build customer loyalty and customer advocacy.
• Balance cash, daily transactions, the vault, and ATM.
• Understand and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and reporting requirements.
• Follow information security policies and verification procedures to protect customer privacy.
• Assist with opening and/or closing the banking center.
• Sell bank products, make customer referrals, and perform other activities that support sales goals.
• Maintain knowledge of all bank products.
• Participate in daily and weekly meetings and coaching sessions.
