About The Position

Ion Bank is seeking a part-time Teller to provide superior customer service while processing customer transactions and performing daily retail banking functions accurately and efficiently. The role requires a working knowledge of bank products and services, active cross-selling and referrals, and compliance with applicable banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures. Tellers provide friendly, personalized service, build rapport with customers, and help identify and meet their banking needs.

Requirements

One year of customer service and/or cash handling experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of bank products and services.
High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, personalized service to Bank customers and establish rapport to recognize and meet their banking needs.
Process customer financial transactions accurately, efficiently, and courteously.
Balance the teller window and/or ATM machine daily, and maintain an authorized cash supply.
Participate in the consultative sales process by cross-selling Bank products and services and making appropriate referrals.
Contribute to established branch goals by recognizing and acting on sales and referral opportunities.
Maintain a working knowledge of applicable banking regulations and follow Bank policies and procedures.
Protect customer and Bank information and assets, and maintain a safe and secure working environment by following security procedures and loss-prevention guidelines.
Recognize and report fraudulent, counterfeit, or suspicious activity to the Security Department.
Complete forms, applications, and reports accurately in accordance with procedures.
Perform additionally assigned duties and help ensure company service standards are achieved.
