About The Position
Viceroy Snowmass in Snowmass Village, Colorado, is hiring guest-focused Front Desk Team Members for a seasonal winter position through the J-1 Work & Travel Program. The role offers international students hands-on experience in luxury hospitality and a cultural exchange opportunity while supporting front desk operations and guest service. The position is full-time, seasonal, pays $22.00 per hour, and has a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays. The start date is December 10, 2026.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel Program.
- Currently enrolled in an eligible post-secondary institution outside the United States.
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, professional, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn hotel property management systems.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional, and personalized service.
- Assist with guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and reservations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Assist with guest payments, billing, and property management systems.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments to support seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain accurate guest records and protect confidential information.
- Keep the front desk organized and follow hotel service and safety standards.
