The role is for an experienced Senior Master Scheduler to lead production scheduling and planning in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining a realistic, achievable production schedule that aligns with customer demand, available capacity, and material supply. The ideal candidate will bring strong ERP and MRP experience, along with the ability to improve planning processes and drive cross-functional alignment between production, engineering, and materials.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with variable demand and lead times
  • Proven ability to manage complex schedules and adjust to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with data tools is a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Infor Visual or similar ERP systems
  • Experience in environments using finite scheduling and MRP-based planning
  • Exposure to process improvement or ERP system enhancements

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the master production schedule across all manufacturing operations
  • Build finite capacity schedules that reflect real-world labor and equipment constraints
  • Translate demand into clear and executable production plans
  • Monitor and manage capacity utilization, material availability, schedule adherence and on-time delivery
  • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, constraints, and bottlenecks
  • Coordinate closely with the production teams to ensure schedule execution
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering to align routings and manufacturing flow
  • Align supply with demand by working with the Material and Purchasing teams
  • Support continuous improvement of planning and scheduling processes
