About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Telephone Operator to provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests over the telephone and during check-in and check-out, while helping maximize room revenue and occupancy. The operator enhances the guest experience by handling calls promptly and professionally, providing accurate information, and directing requests to the appropriate departments. The role also supports associates by maintaining smooth communication so teams can respond quickly to guest needs.
Requirements
- Computer experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Previous hospitality or related experience is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Distribute guest requests to the proper departments.
- Interact with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Obtain necessary information when taking room, cabana, and bungalow reservations and follow the rate-quoting scenario.
- Stay informed about resort rates, packages, and promotions.
- Maintain proper operation of the PBX console and ensure applicable standards are met.
