Requirements

• Previous experience in parts sales, auto parts, automotive, or a related field—preferred.
• Brings excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Has basic computer skills and is comfortable learning inventory management software.
• Can read and interpret parts catalogs and diagrams.
• Is highly organized and pays close attention to detail.
• Can prioritize tasks and stay accurate in a fast-paced environment.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Takes pride in helping customers and getting the right part to the right person at the right time.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the parts counter, over the phone, and as needed throughout the dealership.
• Identify parts and accessories based on customer and technician needs.
• Look up parts using catalogs, diagrams, and computerized inventory systems.
• Process parts sales and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor inventory levels and help maintain inventory accuracy.
• Receive, organize, and properly store incoming parts.
• Communicate with technicians, service advisors, customers, and vendors to ensure parts needs are met.
• Keep the parts counter and department clean, organized, and efficient.
• Work independently while also supporting the team during busy periods.
