• Ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with order fulfillment, POS transactions, and cleaning or sanitation duties.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs throughout the store.
• Accurately select groceries ordered online, choosing high-quality produce, meat, and other fresh products.
• Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones.
• Maintain proper product temperatures throughout the fulfillment process.
• Store gathered orders at the appropriate temperature and retrieve them promptly before customer arrival.
• Cart orders to and place them in the customer pickup holding area.
• Lift, carry, and load groceries into customer vehicles.
• Tender customer orders through the POS system and process credit card payments.
• Substitute products when requested or when items are unavailable.
• Monitor incoming online orders to support prompt, on-time fulfillment.
• Answer customer phone calls and emails promptly and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Follow Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and department and company guidelines.
• Assist with other tasks or special projects as needed.
