About The Position

Aisles Online Shoppers fulfill customers’ online grocery orders by selecting high-quality products from all departments and ensuring orders are handled accurately and carefully. The role involves working independently in a fast-paced retail store environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining product quality and proper temperatures throughout fulfillment. Shoppers also provide friendly customer service, prepare orders for pickup, and assist with other tasks as needed. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.

Frequently stand and walk throughout a shift.
Ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with order fulfillment, point-of-sale transactions, and cleaning or sanitation duties.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs throughout the store.
Accurately select high-quality groceries ordered online, including fresh produce, meat, and other products.
Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones.
Maintain proper product temperatures throughout the fulfillment process.
Store gathered orders at the proper temperature and retrieve them promptly before customer arrival.
Cart orders to the holding area for customer pickup.
Lift, carry, and load groceries into customer vehicles.
Tender customer orders through the point-of-sale system and process credit card payments.
Substitute products upon customer request or when items are unavailable.
Monitor incoming online orders to ensure prompt, on-time fulfillment.
Answer phones and emails promptly and provide friendly, helpful service.
Follow the company dress code, hygiene standards, and department and company guidelines.
Assist with other tasks or special projects as needed.
