About The Position

The Aisles Online Shopper selects and fulfills online grocery orders with care and accuracy, choosing high-quality items across all departments, including fresh produce and meat. The role requires attention to freshness, product quality, and temperature control, while ensuring orders are completed promptly and customers receive a positive experience. The position is primarily based in a retail store and involves independent work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs throughout the store.
Accurately select high-quality groceries ordered online, including produce, meat, and other fresh products.
Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones.
Maintain products at proper temperatures throughout fulfillment.
Store gathered orders at the proper temperature and retrieve them promptly before customer arrival.
Cart orders to the customer pickup holding area.
Lift, carry, and load groceries into customer vehicles.
Tender customer orders through the point-of-sale system and process credit card payments.
Substitute products when requested by customers or when items are unavailable.
Monitor incoming online orders to support prompt, on-time fulfillment.
Answer phones and emails promptly and provide helpful customer service.
Follow dress code, hygiene standards, and department and company guidelines.
Assist with other tasks and special projects as needed.
