About The Position

Aisles Online Shoppers select and fulfill online grocery orders, choosing quality products across all departments, including fresh produce, meat, and pantry staples. They help ensure orders are accurate, properly handled, and ready for timely customer pickup. The role involves customer service, working independently in a fast-paced retail environment, and managing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Shoppers select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones; maintain products at appropriate temperatures; store and retrieve orders; and bring orders to the pickup area. They may load groceries into customer vehicles, process orders and credit card payments through POS, and make substitutions when items are unavailable or requested. They also respond to customer calls and emails and follow company and department standards.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them throughout the store.
Accurately select online grocery orders, choosing high-quality produce, meat, and other fresh products.
Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones.
Maintain proper product temperatures throughout fulfillment.
Store gathered orders at the proper temperature and retrieve them promptly before customer arrival.
Cart orders to the customer pickup holding area.
Lift, carry, and load groceries into customer vehicles.
Tender customer orders through POS and process credit card payments.
Substitute products when requested or when items are unavailable.
Monitor incoming online orders to support prompt, on-time fulfillment.
Answer customer phone calls and emails promptly and provide helpful service.
Follow Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and department and company guidelines.
Assist with other tasks or special projects as needed.
