About The Position

Aisles Online Shoppers fulfill customer grocery orders by selecting accurate, high-quality products across store departments. The role requires care in choosing fresh items, handling products from different temperature zones, and maintaining correct temperatures throughout fulfillment. Shoppers prepare orders for pickup, assist customers, process payments, and help ensure online orders are completed promptly. This is an active, fast-paced position in a retail store setting, involving independent work, customer service, and managing multiple tasks under deadlines. Employees follow Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and department and company guidelines, and may assist with other tasks or special projects. Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs throughout the store.
Select online grocery orders accurately, choosing high-quality produce, meat, and other fresh products.
Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones.
Maintain products at proper temperatures throughout the fulfillment process.
Store gathered orders at the proper temperature and retrieve them promptly before customer arrival.
Cart orders to and place them in the customer pickup holding area.
Lift, carry, and load groceries into customer vehicles.
Tender customer orders through the POS system and process credit card payments.
Substitute products upon customer request or when items are unavailable.
Monitor incoming online orders to ensure prompt, on-time fulfillment.
Answer phones and emails promptly and provide friendly, helpful customer service.
Follow Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and department and company guidelines.
Assist with other tasks or special projects as needed.
