About The Position

Aisles Online Shoppers fulfill online grocery orders by carefully selecting high-quality products across store departments and ensuring each order is handled accurately and kept at the proper temperature. The role involves working independently in a fast-paced retail environment while providing friendly customer service and meeting fulfillment deadlines. Shoppers also help customers with pickup, process orders and payments, and assist with other tasks as needed. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a pre-employment drug screen.

Frequently stand and walk throughout a shift.
Ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with order fulfillment, point-of-sale transactions, and cleaning and sanitation duties.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen is required.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them throughout the store.
Select the highest-quality groceries ordered online, including fresh produce, meat, and other products.
Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones.
Maintain products at the proper temperature throughout fulfillment.
Store gathered orders at the proper temperature and retrieve them promptly before customer arrival.
Cart orders to the holding area for customer pickup.
Lift, carry, and load groceries into customer vehicles.
Tender customer orders through the point-of-sale system and process credit card payments.
Substitute products when requested by customers or when items are unavailable.
Monitor incoming online orders to ensure prompt, on-time fulfillment.
Answer customer phone calls and emails promptly and provide helpful service.
Follow the dress code, hygiene standards, and department and company guidelines.
Assist with other tasks and special projects as needed.
