About The Position

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, Virginia is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for their Medical Telemetry Unit on the Day Shift. This role demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. The Unit Coordinator, under the direction of the department manager, leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. The goal is to increase staff satisfaction and promote excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Nursing - BSN
  • Registered nursing License
  • BLS required within 90 days of hire
  • 18 Months of acute care RN experience
  • Experience in Telemetry and or Medical

Nice To Haves

  • MSN
  • Professional Specialty Nursing Certification preferred.
  • Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire
  • NIH within 1 year of hire
  • Previous charge experience preferred
  • Acute Care nursing background preferred
