About The Position

The Operations Coordinator assists the Supervisor and Technical Specialist in managing Phlebotomy and serves as a resource for problem solving. The coordinator is highly skilled in understanding operational requirements for managing patients in a fast-paced, customer-service-focused environment. They oversee aspects of the operation that contribute to high-quality pre-analytic processes in Phlebotomy and understand how these processes directly affect testing areas, the quality of results, and patient care. The role requires the ability to train staff phlebotomists in inpatient and outpatient settings and across all three shifts.

Requirements

• Current CPR certification is required.
• Current Phlebotomy certification is required.
• Four years of clinical laboratory experience.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum two-year Associate degree in a health care field is preferred.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
