About The Position
This role is for an Office Staff position focusing on Customer Service and Inside Sales. The primary responsibilities include managing customer inquiries, providing product information, supporting sales efforts, processing orders, and resolving customer complaints. The position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in customer service or inside sales, particularly in a manufacturing or decorative hardware environment, is desired.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business or related field is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in customer service or inside sales, preferably in a manufacturing or decorative hardware environment.
- Familiarity with sales techniques and customer relationship management.
- Experience working in a family-owned or small business is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Provide detailed product information and assistance to customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Support inside sales efforts by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Process orders and manage customer accounts effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Resolve customer complaints, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Participate in training sessions to stay informed about new products and sales techniques.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer service processes.
