About The Position

The Manager of Human Resources plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the human capital strategy to support the organization's overall business objectives. This position is responsible for overseeing numerous HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws across all sites. The Manager will collaborate closely with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and drive continuous improvement in workforce effectiveness. This role ensures that the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent while maintaining a compliant and supportive workplace culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in human resources management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Experience managing employee relations, recruitment, and performance management processes.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics tools, e.g. ADP.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or related discipline.
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR/SPHR.
  • Experience working in a multi-state environment with diverse workforce populations.
  • Demonstrated success in leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full spectrum of human resources activities including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and employee development.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and workforce planning.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and diversity, equity, and inclusion programs to cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports to inform leadership decisions and identify opportunities for organizational improvement.
  • Oversee employee relations and ensure timely and effective resolution of workplace issues and grievances.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and legal counsel as necessary to support HR operations and compliance.
