About The Position

Byte&Kite is a digital marketing agency helping clients across a range of industries grow through effective digital marketing and customer engagement. As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will build and manage lifecycle email programmes across multiple client accounts, covering segmentation, automation, campaign planning, testing and deliverability. You will work closely with writers, designers and client teams to create email programmes that drive measurable engagement, conversions and revenue.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on email marketing experience
  • Experience managing email programmes across multiple campaigns, audiences or client accounts
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Klaviyo, HubSpot, Braze or similar ESPs
  • Strong experience building and optimising automated lifecycle journeys beyond basic drip sequences
  • Practical understanding of deliverability, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, sender reputation and troubleshooting
  • Experience developing segmentation strategies based on customer behaviour, lifecycle stage and engagement
  • Strong analytical skills and experience evaluating email performance, conversions and revenue
  • Disciplined approach to A/B testing and ability to interpret results accurately
  • Comfortable collaborating with writers, designers and other marketing specialists
  • Able to explain email performance clearly to clients and recommend actions based on data

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage and optimise automated email flows across multiple client accounts
  • Own segmentation strategy and maintain healthy, engaged subscriber lists
  • Develop campaign calendars aligned with client goals, customer journeys and key business priorities
  • Create and manage lifecycle programmes including onboarding, nurture, retention, re-engagement and other triggered communications
  • Design and run structured A/B tests across subject lines, content, offers, timing, segmentation and other variables
  • Evaluate test results using appropriate sample sizes and meaningful performance metrics
  • Monitor deliverability, including sender reputation, authentication and engagement signals, and troubleshoot issues when they arise
  • Work with writers and designers to develop effective campaign assets and ensure they are aligned with the overall strategy
  • Track email performance and report on conversions and revenue attributed to email, not open rates alone
  • Identify opportunities to improve engagement, conversion and customer retention through email
  • Keep client email programmes aligned with relevant privacy, consent and deliverability requirements
