About The Position

Prime Communications, AT&T's largest privately held authorized retailer with nearly 2,000 retail stores nationwide, is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst. This role will support the Financial Operations department, which focuses on Payroll Efficiency, Workforce Management analysis, Schedule Optimization, Performance Management, P&L management, Sales Goal Setting, Compensation & incentive analysis, and Operational Excellence. The analyst will be responsible for executing and monitoring business processes and policies across the sales channel to ensure financial efficiency.

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving and good decision-making skills.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing deadlines.
  • Proficient in analyzing data and building reports to identify trends, performance gaps and opportunities
  • Aptitude to complete designated assignments with little to no supervision, analyze information gathered and make recommendations
  • Experience in KPI management and understanding of how performance impacts profitability
  • Proficient computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • This position requires advanced level Excel skills including advanced formula usage and experience in macro creation. Qualified applicants will be tested on their technical skills prior to hiring
  • 2 - 3 years of experience as an Analyst, dealing with heavy analytical work
  • 2 years of experience with ADP Workforce Manager/eTime
  • Bachelor's degree required (preferably Business or Finance)

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of wireless retail experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Field leaders (District Manager, Market Director, VP) to develop critical solutions to drive operational efficiency
  • Interpret and implement operational practices/policies and propose improvements to overall business processes
  • Independently analyze KPI and employee behavior statistics, identify trends and address areas of opportunity for each market in their assigned region
  • Analyze Payroll statistics, identify Overtime trends, and collaborate with Field leaders in a timely manner, to improve store's financial operations
  • Identify areas of opportunity in employee scheduling, and develop solutions that impact Time & Attendance related expenses having significant impact on financial health of the business
  • Implement effective operation methods and solutions to improve Optimal Scheduling to meet business needs, as well as other systems and tools that affect employee schedule adherence
  • Analyze key reporting and performance statistics, to communicate areas of improvement in Performance Management, thereby reducing Attrition and retaining Field employees
  • Identify missing employee hours and partner with DMs to resolve outstanding payroll requests.
  • Evaluate historical trends to develop forecasts of sales goals and drive sales performance
  • Conduct P&L analysis to identify data patterns and report root causes of Financial issues
  • Communicate with Field leaders daily, and maintain a positive working relationship with all Store leaders
  • Assist with streamlining reporting needs in Excel to reduce manual effort required
  • Perform other ad hoc analysis as required
